We dispatch orders from our farm every Monday and Thursday, so make sure to place your order before 7am on those days to avoid disappointment.
It looks like the avocado season has come to an end. We expect the new season to begin in late February but we will keep you updated! In the meantime, we still have all our other lovely local products available to end of year gifts and treats!
It all started with a box of avocados. In 2020, Susannah noticed that prices in the Cape were high and the quality wasn’t quite what she knew from the farm. So, she sent a box of farm-fresh avocados to her son at UCT—and friends of his started asking for avos too. Sitting at an ultimate frisbee game, Susannah had a long chat with one of the early founders of Food Clubs. That conversation led to trial shipments of 14kg boxes of avocados.
There were a few hiccups (yes, some guacamole arrived where avos should have been), but once the right boxes were found, Fresh From the Farm was officially born in March 2020. Over the years, our customer base has grown, and our food groups remain a major part of our customer base.
